I'm Back!!!!
Ok y'all I know it has been FAR too long since my last post. I had an extremely busy and eventful summer but I am back into the swing of things at school. This is my last year of college!!! Where has the time gone?? So I was doing my daily browsing of www.accordingtonina.com and I stumbed upon Ashley Brooke Designs. Ashley Brooke designs adorable invitations and stationary that I am seriously considering purchasing. If you've ever seen or purchased any stationary from Ashley Brooke how do you feel about using it to send out thank you notes after an interview???

Weekend Plans
I am soooooo excited to go see Valentine's Day on Friday!! There are so many good actors in this movie...it is bound to be good. I was pleasantly suprised this week when a family member offered me tickets to the NC State vs UNC game this weekend. I am really looking forward to it and so is A. After the game I'm making steaks for A and I and we're going to rent The Time Traveler's Wife....which is a great movie if you haven't seen it. Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Valentine's Day!!! :)

Carolina Cup
I'm trying to get ideas for an outfit to wear to the Carolina Cup horse race coming up on March 27. I was browsing J.Crew's website and stumbled upon this adorable dress. I already have a tan straw hat. Does anyone know of any another cute horse race appropriate dresses?? :)
Here's a picture from last year's Carolina Cup....

Girls' Night In
I'm sitting here with my friend Lizzie anxiously awaiting the new Grey's Anatomy to come on. I have some yummy brownies in the oven. The business law test went well....so it wasn't a huge mistake creating this blog the night before my test. I'm starting to plan the Valentine's menu for A (the bf) and me. Here is a yummy cheesecake recipe from http://www.allrecipes.com/ that I made a few months ago......Enjoy!!!
Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake
Ingredients
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons white sugar
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1/4 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
pressurized whipped cream
caramel ice cream topping
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly coat a 9-inch springform pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2.Mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar until well combined. Press into the bottom of the prepared springform pan, and 1 inch up the sides. Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes, then remove to cool on a wire rack.
3.Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
4.Beat the softened cream cheese in a large bowl with an electric mixer until fluffy. Gradually add 1 cup of sugar, beating until blended. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in sour cream, espresso and vanilla. Pour batter into the baked and cooled crust.
5.Bake cheesecake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 5 minutes; then turn the oven off, partially open the door and allow the cheesecake to rest for 15 minutes more. Remove from the oven, and run a knife around the edges. Cool cheesecake on a wire rack to room temperature, then cover the springform pan with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours.
6.To serve, cut the cheesecake into wedges and garnish each slice with whipped cream and caramel sauce.

Things Getting Me Through This Week
So my sister's 24th birthday is coming up on Friday and we have a nice little weekend planned. Friday night I have planned a get together with some of her friends at a local sushi restaurant then we're going to see "Dear John" which I am soooooo excited about!!!
My parents will also be coming into town on Friday night (weather permitting). It is so great when they come for a visit. They're taking us to The Angus Barn for dinner and I'm sure some shopping will be done later. So I just have to make it through this week (mainly my test tomorrow) and then it will be time for a fun-filled weekend!!!!

My 1st Post!!!!!!
So I'm sitting here the night before my first test in Business Law and, being the procrastinator that I am, I've decided right now would be the PERFECT time to start a blog. :) I'm a junior in college pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I hope to one day obtain a career marketing for golf products, golf courses, or golf clothing. I played golf in high school and now work part-time at a local golf course. I can't wait to graduate and start my career and hopefully a family! I hope everyone enjoys my blog!!!
